The Vet has asked us to "monitor" the weight of both....suggesting we bring them in once a month to weigh them. Both don't travel very well to the VET's Office and I wanted avoid that "Kitty Trauma" - so we bought this scale vs. the Salter Baby Scale.....and we are really happy we did. One of the best "Features" for this scale is that not only are we now able to weigh both cats quickly and easily, it's also a nice, neutral white color that we also use as our new Bath Scale in our bathroom....vs. a baby scale that would be for the cats only.The product is very easy to use....IF you read the directions. This is seriously the coolest scale I've ever seen. All the scales at the store rate you within .2 pounds, but this scale is accurate within .1 pound. I was seriously concerned that it would fluctuate and give me different weights every time I stepped on, but it actually weights me the same every time. I can step on 4 times and it will read out the same weight down to the tenth at least 3 of the 4 times. With my little daughter it reads the same EVERY time. I tested it with a 10-pound and then a 25-pound weight I had on hand.
