This scale is not really "PRO" per se. Got this exact model for $50 at Sammy's club, but, it isn't very accurate.
It claims a resolution of 1.6 ounces, but when I place 6+ ounces on it, it registers as ZERO! I am very good with technology and tried everything like re-taring it while it was empty, etc., but nothing worked :( I also called their support and did get to talk to a real person in India, but the reply I got was to take the batteries out, wait 10 minutes, and then put them back ;( Big surprise, it didn't work. I guess it's pretty hard for tech support when they know they are dealing with a product that just WON'T measure accurately by design. No amount of Indian tech support can fix the broken products that these out-of-touch companies churn out.

I experienced the same issue with the scale. unless I placed heavy items of at least 40 pounds on the scale, it would not activate. I certainly won't register a small package of 3 or 4 pounds. Going back to Sam's as well.

You have to be kidding me. That is the response I was given when I called customer support in India as to WHY my scale would not power up with the batteries or adapter. I asked her why it would make a difference and if each unit had to be started this way. She said yes so I asked her why that wasn't in the instructions and she had no answer. I was Highly doubtful that taking the batteries out had anything to do as to why the unit would not power up. I was correct in my assumptions. Remote looks perfect!
It's heading back to Sam's Club tonight, just a few hours after purchase for $50.
