At meets, Pole Vaulters have the weigh in and make a certain weight in order to be "legal". We also have to weigh in our implements (Shot puts, Discus'). I bought this specifically because it has lbs and kg (different implements are weighed differently). And most importantly because it goes to .1lbs... not .2 lbs like most scales.Pros: This scale is very accurate for people. It is consitent and looks nice. Would make a great bathroom scale and you can't beat the price. Cons: It does not register anything under 20lbs. This makes this scale pretty usless to me since i really need to weigh in implements at a track meet. However, I am rating this product, not my personal issues with it. I give it 4 stars because it does its job very well, I deducted a star because there was no way of knowing it wouldn't register sub-20lb objects.
